New England Premiere Play Reading by Mira and Paul Sorvino
Stella Adler's parents were two of the finest actors in the American Yiddish Theatre. Stella and her brothers made the transition from the Yiddish Theatre to stardom in mainstream Amercian theatre, film and television. Direct from NYC, this new play brings to life Stella's conflicts with Lee Strasberg and her daily meetings in Paris in 1934 with Russian director and actor, Constantine Stanaslavsky, who imparts the secrets of his acting system.
