They did a crawl but I'm thinking about something else. This would be a fundraiser where folks pay to get on a bus and go to bars all over the valley. We could include an obnoxious choir.

Haunt the Haunts of Holyoke .. humm but that's more of a Halloween zombie crawl theme.   How about an obnoxious choir pub crawl to celebrate spring?

Any one else thinking about 2012? One fundraising idea I'd like to explore is a pub crawl in June that would hit bars in holyoke, hamp, springfield, westfield, etc... Might be a good way to raise $$$ and get some good pr. Thoughts?

Hi Block Party People:

 

The Press and Promotion group will be meeting on Thrusday 6:00 at SalsaRengue before the PWAP, anyone who would like to help out is welcome. 

 

There is still need for a volunteer group to meet and get the ball rolling. If you have any friends who you think would be good for that group or if you would like to help out lets get together next week. This group will not be to active before the days leading up to the event, but does need to have a plan in place by August. The main tasks would be identifying volunteer opportunities, recruiting, and coordinating during the event.

Hi all-

A quick GHBP update. Logistics, Music, Restaurants, and Sponsorship committees have been meeting and planning is well on its way in those areas.

 

We are hoping to have both a Press/Promotion and a Volunteer Coordination meeting in the next week or two. If you would like to help out on either of these committees, do let us know by either posting here or sending an email to crushonholyoke@gmail.com.
