Hello hello-

There's a Cable TV Committee public meeting this Wednesday at 7 pm in City Council Chambers.

Stephen Fitzgibbons from Comcast will be there to discuss  current issues with Comcast, the upcoming contract renewal (2013 expiration), and to hear constituent thoughts on things related to cable tv.

Peter, depending on dates I would be willing to video and mic the debates. It is definitely needed that Holyoke politics become more accountable and open for sure.

Anyone else have suggestions for meeting times, I sure like the idea of a Holyoke media group. In these times the more we network and help one another and our community, the better position we will all be in. I don't mind informal meetings for a beer or pizza even.

I second that - when are we going to meet? My vote is for evenings and/or weekends, there are so many times I want to go to things and they are at times that conflict or during hours when a job might come up. I am anxious to meet others interested in media and Holyoke and do regularly enough to plan for it.
