I would like to say thank you to all of you who worked so hard to get everything together for this event! The turn out was amazing and everyone seemed to be having a great time. This was the best event that I have been to in Holyoke yet! Thanks for letting me be part of it!

Yes it was a great party and at least from my POV,, smooooooth for the most part..
If its any assurance I think I did see your chair.. Aluminum frame with redish wooden slats for seat and back?? If so it was there until the end leaning against a tree,, so I would assume it was picked up by someone of CRUSH and moved with "stuff".. I will be returning things with folks (Stan) tomorrow and will keep eyes peeled.. J

Great party everyone! I'm so glad I stayed late enough to hear Fear Nuttin! So fun, all the music was great.
Somehow I forgot my painting chair. Did anyone pick it up?

I just wanted to make a general posting.. I have been to a couple of sources and still at this point I have no solid YES for tables and chairs.. I am still working but have no solids.. Anyone else?? Tee Shirts are a WIP and Ill get more focused tomorrow 8/18. I think I will ongoingly do the $$ donation thing and more now just before the Block Party,, Keep on truckin..

We are meeting tomorrow-full Block Party Planning Group--at our house on Suffolk and Beech. The address is 189 Suffolk, but if you show up at our front door (146 Beech) we'll let you in there too!
6 pm, all are welcome to attend. If you have not attended our planning meetings before, we'll give you a short recap.

Hi Jason,
To clarify, most of the work we have been doing has been taking place in smaller committee type meetings. The meeting on the 11th is one involving members of all committees. The meeting on the 12th is a logistics-group-only meeting.

Hope this clears things up. We have not been having many all-group meetings as we feel that the smaller ones are more focused (and fewer schedules to work around!).

I was told at the end of last week 8/5,, Unless I am mistaken that the next meeting was due to take place at the Veterans Park location at 10 am on Thursday the 12th..
OK,,, just so I know,,, the date in the comment section below from Daphne,, of the 11th of August at 6 pm is the last and standing date and time?? Please post here or send a message.. I really am hoping/wanting to attend,, looking forward to meeting new folks and help where I can.. Enjoy your Sunday,, and I aint talking about ice cream(unless u have one)!!! smiile
