Yesterday's Candidates Meeting at Holyoke Health Center was awesome. Standing ovations to Peter, Aaron, Josh, Brita, Amy, and any others who did the heavy lifting. I still can't believe that so many people sat quietly and listened intently to the candidates. And the format was magnificent: no "gottcha" debating, just explanations of positions and ideas. What a success!

I heard Ken Segal last week at HG&E explain his project with the Peoples Bank building on High Street. He is well worth hearing and has a very interesting project. And he's not even asking for any money. Instead of putting our eggs in the basket of big box retailers, like Lowes, I say let's "green" our existing buildings and attract new high tech small businesses.
You should check this guy out and talk with him about his plan to "green" the People's Bank building on High St. There is probably a good connection for YB there.
