What is the talent/skill that you can bring to c.r.u.s.h.?
Speak spanish. Long time resident politically involved. Can speak in public. Am a member of One Book Holyoke, Latino Scholarship Association, Enlace de Familias,HOPE (Holyoke Organizing to Protect the Environment). I am interested in the new emerging "Green" economy.
What is your favorite thing about Holyoke?
The downtown neighborhoods (Flats, South Holyoke, Churchill + Prospect Heights).
What do you think are some of Holyoke's greatest attributes?
It's history as the entry point for many poor immigrant and migrant groups who were able to make Holyoke their home.
What do you think are some of Holyoke's worst attributes?
Peoples tendencies to think only about Holyoke. We need 21st Century thinking to solve "problems" we as a city face
What are the top issues that Holyoke needs to focus on?
Arts & Cultural Events, Retail Downtown, Green Industry, Neighborhood Cleanup, Pedestrian Friendly, Access To Politics, Public Transportation, Better Schools

Hi Carlos how are you? I hope you finally closed the trap door? I love you and although you may not see or hear from me much, and whether u know it or not, you are my corner stone. What keeps me hanging in there. I am proud of you. Well it looks like your son takes after his dad only with more guts cause you never wanted to run... luv you anyway. take care of yourself and stop thinking so much. Its about time you take some of that worry off your shoulders or did you forget that now you have Aaron? Hi Carlos it's Sylvia. Nice to know that after 30 yrs things have not changed much for you here in Holyoke, you're still impossible to get a hold of. I have searched for your place for days, have called and left messages and have even sent correspondence, which by the way was sent back because he did not have enough postage. I love you and I better not here that you have had a set back. I need you to help me pull through all of this. I am nervous as heck with this up coming election. So stay well and I hope to see you soon. Your faithful follower forever.....
