What is the talent/skill that you can bring to c.r.u.s.h.?
Born and raised in Holyoke...involved in many civic groups over the years...Wistariahurst, Save the Victory, Inc., Quota Club. Very interested in the future of the City and am really delighted to see so many new young, energetic faces getting involved. We need you.
What is your favorite thing about Holyoke?
My roots are Holyoke. I love the close knit sense of community, the traditions,etc.
What do you think are some of Holyoke's greatest attributes?
The Churches in Holyoke are wonderful examples of architecture. City Hall is a beautiful structure and most certainly, Wistariahurst. So glad we were able to save it many years ago. It is a real treasure.
What do you think are some of Holyoke's worst attributes?
Sometimes we are shortsighted. For example, a beautiful castle was taken down abut 30 or so years ago. I used to walk up there with friends and slide in the winter. In the summer we just liked to go up there to walk around and be cool.
What are the top issues that Holyoke needs to focus on?
Restaurants, Arts & Cultural Events, Retail Downtown, Neighborhood Cleanup, Safer Streets, Building Facades, Pedestrian Friendly, Communication Network, Inter-Generational Activity, Better Schools

Hi Jeanne...thanks for your words of encourament. I am working hard to reach out to our families and now that School started again. I know how bad the Committee needs additional representation and I am planning to be that person. Thank you so much for your support and please remind your friends of Ward-4 to vote for a better School Committee...Vote Cesar Lopez.
