At one point, when we lived on Suffolk Street, she got quite upset with me about my tendency to collect mugs and use them to hold pens and other writing implements. She expressed a fear of having a mug full of pens in every room. I think that she generally doesn't want me to bring home more mugs, but I believe that she is willing to make an exception (or two) for your excellent muggery.

In my defense, Scott has a real hoarding problem. And I wasn't afraid that there would be a mug full of pens in every room; it was that, in fact, there WAS a mug full of pens in every room. It was excessive. I can make an exception to my no-new-mugs rule, but only one exception (i.e, one mug). Incidentally, I don't already have a mug because I didn't work on your campaign. I was of singular focus and worked only for the election of Mark Lubold. I don't even think I gave your campaign any cash-money. I can hardly remember. I was broke at the time, so surely you will forgive me.
