Holyoke's Social Network

made possible by Citizens for the Revitalization and Urban Success of Holyoke

Regardless of how you feel on the issues all registered voters need to vote tomorrow. Even if you disagree with the selection of candidates for one office or another, simply skip that section of the ballot but show up and be counted.

Think of it, if 20,000 voters appeared at the polling stations to vote and only 10,000 voted for one office. The message that would ring loud and clear is only 50% of the voter turnout liked the options presented. Maybe then more folks would come forward and run against an incumbent.

I personally love the fact that so many seats are challenged it shows me that people are interested in the City and the direction it will be going in. Don’t get me wrong I strongly back some incumbents but making them go threw the hops only forces them to check there voting history and reconnect with the voters.

Simple put, VOTE.
